We all saw how President Obama celebrated his historic trip to Kenya with some dancing at during the State House dinner.
This was after Sauti Sol posted a video of the president dancing with them just before his toast. He joined the VMA and BET Award-winning group, along with his half-sister Auma Obama, National Security Adviser Susan Rice, Kenyan President Uhuru Kenyatta, First Lady Margaret Kenyatta, American hip-hop artist Akon ,and Obama’s step-grandmother, Mama Sarah.
However, nothing was revealed of their discussion, that’s until we got Bien Baraza to share with us his conversation with the world’s most powerful man.
“I whispered into his ear and told him that I always wanted to meet him since his first campaign. I was very composed but at the same time very excited,” Bien told Heads Up.
So, how did Obama respond?
“He said: ‘Oh, here we are then!’”
Brief but memorable!
Sauti Sol’s moment of fame however did not impress some online analysts who felt that Bien lacked decorum by hanging on Obama’s shoulder while taking a photo.
“Let them wait for their turn and let’s see how they will behave. Their opinion does not affect me,” he stated.
