NYANDARUA: The Government has ordered some 15 persons living with disabilities together with their families to move out of Nyandarua Vocational Rehabilitation Training Institute premises.

They have lived in the premises for the last three decades.

Last week, the institute wrote to the families asking them to leave to enable the staff and trainers to enjoy the facilities.

They have since vowed not to vacate, claiming they have nowhere to move to.

According to their spokesman Robert Kinyua: “This is our only home which we were given by the Moi Government and yet we are being told to vacate. We depend solely on artistic works to make a living,” he said.
