No need for panic ahead of 2017 elections, Wiper MPs tell Deputy President William Ruto

Wiper party MPs now say some Jubilee leaders have switched into a panic mode ahead of the 2017 general elections.

In a press statement, the Wiper MPs said Jubilee leaders’ advice to CORD on who should be a flag bearer and who is to be running mate is uncalled for and in bad faith.

“In fact it only confirms that they now know Kenyans have lost confidence in their style of leadership. In 2013 Kalonzo Musyoka was Raila’s running mate as Ruto was to Uhuru and therefore to say that Ruto was in competition with Kalonzo is far from truth or trying to fit shoes that are bigger than your size. Furthermore, Kalonzo was a Presidential candidate in Kenya in 2007 and therefore can't be playing the same league with Ruto by any standards.”

They said that for anyone to imagine that CORD has a shortage of advisors is farfetched and missing the point by a huge margin.

“Those Jubilee Leaders must not act diversionary from issues of corruption that are currently rocking the country! Let them carry their own cross and be accountable to Kenyans. Kenyans are tired of waking up daily on stories of corruption, insecurity or utterances that are not geared towards uniting our Country.”
