Sh10 million bounty issued on German national linked to KDF camp attack

Kenya: Kenyan Police have issued a Sh10 million bounty on German national Andreas Martin Muller alias “Abu Nusaibah”, in connection with the weekend attack at Baure army camp in Lamu County.

Andreas Martin Muller, alias "Abu Nusaibah", described by police as ‘armed and dangerous’,is believed to be one of the masterminds of the raid during which 11 Al Shabaab militants were killed.

In a poster bearing his photos, police said he escaped with wounds sustained in the failed attack on the Kenya Defence Forces’ Baure camp.

KDF spokesman David Obonyo said the attackers, who were aggressively repulsed by the military, most likely came on foot from Somalia. He added that the area around Baure is still very dangerous.
