Breakfast smoothie

Ingredients

Serves 1

 100ml semi-skimmed milk

150g low-fat natural yoghurt  

25g bran flakes

¼ tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp. honey

Method

1 Place all the ingredients in a liquidizer or food processor and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and drizzle over some extra honey if you fancy!

If you want a smoother ­texture, soak the bran flakes in the milk for 5 to 10 minutes ­before you make it.
