Gospel of Nakedness: Shock as Pastor asks his ‘flock’ to strip naked, steps on them

"Need prayers? Please strip naked" The photos spawned anger from furious readers. Photo:FB

A South African Pastor, Prophet Penuel, has shocked many after asking the members of his congregation in need of prayers to strip naked and lie on the ground.

The photos have since gone viral showing the youthful Pastor of End Times Disciples’ Ministries in Gauteng, South Africa, stepping on the nearly naked ‘flock’.

The photos were shared on the church’s Facebook page but were later deleted after they spawned anger from furious readers.

“He does it in such a disturbing manner that can attract wrath of human rights activists.” A comment on Facebook said.

In some of the photos taken at night, the ‘man of God’ is seen holding a microphone delivering a supposed sermon.

The church tagged one of the pictures: “Total demonstration of God Power, no pain in them; meaning God is with us. To God be the glory.”

However, what is even more confusing is that those appearing to be stripping are doing so out of their own will without being coerced.

One disappointed reader on Facebook could not hold it in, and decided to share a piece of his mind about the incident:

“I usually don’t criticize servants of God or the Gospel but this is wrong. A church in Soshanguve is now coming with the gospel of nakedness and claims the anointing was too much. What happened to ushering? It is embarrassing to see pastors now instead of laying their hands they are laying their boots. This behavior must be condemned… Please Servants of God, respect the people that God is using you to save and deliver.”

The incident raised lots of questions as some speculated it to be a case of ritual healing.
