Gospel icon Esther Wahome received a White House visit treat in Burundi about two weeks ago, MondayBlues can exclusively report.
The Kuna Dawa singer was hosted by President Pierre Nkurunziza in a special function facilitated by the Kenyan High Commissioner.
“It was an awesome treat. He is a real down-to-earth calm person. That was a real honour,” Esther told MondayBlues.
The singer thrilled thousands during her two concerts in Burundi that were also attended by politicians and dignitaries.
“Sometimes as an artist, you never get to know how big you are until you step out of the country. I give God all the glory for the blessings I received. Thousands attended both concerts,” she added.
