Mandera, Kenya: Gunmen believed to be Al Shabaab hijacked a miraa van and kidnapped a chief in an attack in Arabia area, Mandera County.
The attack took place early Thursday morning, security agencies are pursuing them. Officials said the attackers seemed to know the area and the chief well. The chief was headed for Mandera town when the attack happened. No recovery has been made so far.
