Staff at a school have caused quite a stink with their method of getting to the bottom of a phantom pooer.
Young children were rounded up, taken into a room and then ordered to pull down their pants so officials could check for evidence of who was the culprit.
The shocking incident happened at a school in Gustine, Texas, after faeces kept appearing on the gym floor.
"I felt like they violated my privacy."
Eliza's mum, Marina, said that she was outraged.
"I was furious... I mean, I was furious. If you can't do your job or you don't know what you're doing, you need to be fired. You shouldn't be here."
Boys and girls were split up before the inspection.
Eliza said she was told to lower her pants to 'just below the butt'.
Gustine Independent School district superintendent Ken Baugh says he is now investigating the incident.
