Thomas Mwadeghu asks John Mruttu, Assembly to end tussle

Taita Taveta, Kenya: Minority Whip in the National Assembly, Thomas Mwadeghu, has called on Governor John Mruttu and Members of the County Assembly (MCAs) to end their differences and concentrate on developing the county.

Mwadeghu, also Wundanyi MP said, "The endless wrangles between the two arms had affected service delivery and should come to an end."

The two arms are on the warpath yet again following a move by MCAs to impeach six county executives they accuse of corruption. The six, however, received a reprieve after the High Court in Mombasa stopped their impeachment process.

Accompanied by among others Deputy Governor Mary Ndiga Kibuka and County Executive Committee Member in charge of Education Jemimah Tuja, during a prize giving ceremony at Mwavunyu Primary in Mwatate sub county on Wednesday added: "Leaders should forgive one another and move forward in matters of development.
