Police in Kimilili sub-county have arrested five suspects including a woman conning the public with fake Kenya Defence Forces (KDF) recruitment letters.
They were arrested after a lobby tipped the police. The Caucus for a better Bungoma and people against corruption said they were approached by a lady from Nakoyonjo village in Kabuchai constituency to verify whether a letter she was given by the conmen for recruiting her daughter in KDF was genuine.
