Woman hangs self after domestic row

A woman was found dead in her house in Bondo Nyironge, Migori County.
It is alleged that the deceased, Rehema Akinyi, 20, differed with her husband, Ben Okello before he left for work.
According to Okello’s father Wilfred Okumu, the two had a misunderstanding before the latter who is a 'boda boda' operator left.
He said, “She locked the house and hanged herself using a bed-sheet. We found the body at 1pm when school children were back for lunch.”
Local chief Millicent Tinga, said the mother of two was angered after they quarrelled with her husband.

Elsewhere in Migori, a man linked to the death of a 22-year-old woman turned himself in.
