It is claimed that this TV personality is an ardent lover of cigars particularly Cuban cigars. A little birdie whispered to Heads Up that one of the country’s greatest TV hosts is alleged to have bought several rolls of the posh cancer stick worth thousands of shillings.
When contacted for comments, Jeff Koinange dismissed the claims as “bullshit.”
“Don’t do like the guy who wrote about the painting. You guys are itching for a lawsuit!” he told Heads Up while referring to a story that reported he had spent Sh1 million on a portrait.
In past interviews, Jeff has admitted that his favourite Cuban cigar, is a Partagas Series D, No.4, which he smokes in the morning and in the evening while “chilling and in deep thought.” Sh500,000 is equivalent to about 100 rolls of the world’s best cigars at Sh5,000 a piece.
Earlier this year, he posed for a magazine cover with one of the Cuban cigars firmly held between his lips.
