Jubilee MPs allege plot by Coalition of reforms and democracy to take over power

Eldoret, Kenya: Endebess MP Robert Pokuse and Trans-Nzoia Woman Rep Janet Nangabo have claimed that the Opposition wants to use unconstitutional means to grab power by inciting Kenyans against the Jubilee administration.

Speaking separately, the MPs said the push for the referendum by CORD is meant to frustrate and weaken the Government's commitment to deliver.

Pokuse of URP said the Opposition is only interested in mutilating the Constitution and open room for easy take-up of power from the Jubilee coalition.

"CORD is plotting to use the back door to grab power from Jubilee. The Opposition is inciting Kenyans against the leadership and plunge the country into chaos in the name of referendum," alleged Pokuse.

OPPOSITION TRAPS

Speaking at Anderson Secondary school in his constituency, Pokuse urged Kenyans not to allow to be used by leaders.

And Nangabo, who was speaking at the burial of a teacher in her county, warned Kenyans against falling for the traps of the Opposition.
