Two Football Kenya Federation (FKF) branches support a special general meeting to replace suspended and expelled officials from the federation and said they would front their candidates for the vacant positions.
North Coast branch Chairman, John Ngowa, and his North Coast counterpart, Hamisi Mwayoyo, said the two branches met and unanimously agreed to front two candidates for the vacant FKF Vice President and Nec Coast positions. Ngowa said lack of a Nec member from Coast after the expulsion of Hussein Terry had affected football in the region. “The resolutions by an FKF consultative meeting last Wednesday to have a special general meeting on September 27 is welcome,” said Ngowa. He said Terry’s expulsion had stalled  football programmes and a quick solution was needed.
