Public Service Commission on the spot over Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko

The Public Service Commission (PSC) is under pressure to take action against the Director of Public Prosecutions Keriako Tobiko for allegedly failing to act on criminal complaints pending before him.

A non-governmental organisation, Concerned Citizens Kenya, has sued PSC to force it to take action against Tobiko for allegedly abdicating his duties.

In the constitutional petition filed at the High Court in Nairobi, the organisation claims the commission has ignored their petitions
since late last year to initiate the process of removing the DPP from office.

The case will be heard early next month.
