Love struck boyfriend travels for 28 hours to deliver flowers to his girlfriend

Britain: Some boyfriends buy flowers, while others opt for chocolates but Jack Harries pulled out all the stops when he travelled more than 16,000 km across the globe to give his girlfriend Ella the birthday surprise of her life.

It took the London boy an exhausting 28 hours to arrive at his beloved's Sydney home and hand deliver the cutest bunch of pink flowers.

And, luckily for us romantics, he shared the whole adventure in a touching video - which has since gone viral around the world with more than a million shares.

The movie - called A Film for Ella - incorporates the loved-up pair's Skype sessions, where she tells her beau to book his flights but not tell her the date he is coming.

We then see Jack set off on his mission, flying ten hours to Hong Kong, followed by an eight-hour stopover.

Finally, he boards a ten-hour flight to Sydney for the final leg of the journey to surprise Ella on her birthday.

Like every good boyfriend, he doesn't come empty-handed, stopping at a florists en route to buy a lovely bunch of flowers.

He then hides behind her garage door ready to give her the shock of her life.

We're sure you can imagine the soppy displays of affection that follow, all sealed with a romantic swim in a stunning ocean.

Good surprise, Jack. Beat that, boyfriends around the world.
