Unilever ups brand war with Lux relaunch

Unilever Kenya has announced the re-launch of its LUX brand, with the introduction of five new variants into the market. The move is inspired by the need to create indulgent skin treats for women. The range has new and enticing feminine fragrances composed by the perfume experts, Firmenich of France. The new range of Soft Touch, Velvet Touch, Wake Me Up, Shake Me Up, and Soft Caress boasts of attractive and trendy pack design available in 75g and 200g. Deborah Mallowah, Vice President, Unilever Africa - Personal Care said Kenya is a key market for the firm. LUX has retained its popularity globally by embracing consumer trends for new sensual fragrances, colours and textures developed to meet the evolving consumers' beauty needs. Unilever Brand Building Director James Jakachira said the new LUX range will boost product demand among women.
