CECAFA: Olunga and Oluoch win awards despite defeat

Despite missing out on the top prize, two Gor Mahia players will be glad to have won individual awards in the just concluded Kagame Inter-club championships in Tanzania.

The Kenyan champions found the going tough against Azam of Tanzania and the result was a 2-0 loss in the final match played on Sunday.

Despite the set-back, towering forward Michael Olunga ran away with the golden boot after scoring five goals while goalkeeper Boniface Oluoch was named as goalkeeper of the tournament. — Gilbert Wandera
