The tragic story as Whitney Houston's daughter, dies aged 22

Bobbi succumbed to injuries she suffered six months ago, on January 31, after being found face down in a bathtub.

A lawsuit that has come to light claims her boyfriend Nick Gordon violently assaulted her just hours before she was discovered unresponsive – in a chilling mirror of her mother’s death. Bobbi’s father, Bobby Brown, has vowed to get justice for his 22-year-old daughter.

But what exactly has happened to Bobbi?

Born - March 1993: Bobbi Kristina Brown - or Krissy as she is affectionately called - was born on March 4 1993 to singer Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. Her grandmother is Cissy Houston, while Dionne Warwick is her mum’s cousin.

Her Parents’ Divorce – April 2007: In 2006 Bobby and Whitney split up and on April 24, the following year their divorce was finalised. Whitney was awarded custody of Bobbi, though her father still had visitation rights.

Her mother’s death – February 11, 2012: In 2012 Bobbi’s life changed forever when she was found dead in her guest room at the Beverly Hilton, in Beverly Hills, California. The official coroner's report showed that she had accidentally drowned in the bathtub, with heart disease and cocaine use listed as contributing factors. In accordance to Whitney’s will, Bobbi was the beneficiary of Houston's entire estate including clothing, jewellery, cars, personal effects, and furniture.

The will also provided for Brown to receive trust fund payments in installments until she reaches age 30, after which time she would receive the remainder of Whitney’s US$115 million estate.

Engagement to Nick Gordon – October 2012: Just months after her mother’s death Bobbi revealed she was engaged to Nick Gordon – a close family friend who lived with the family. Bobbi even called him ‘Big Brother’ which made the union appear rather controversial.

Marriage claims - January 2014: At the start of 2012 Nick claim he had married Bobbi.  This has since been refuted - Bobby Brown's lawyer said in a statement in early 2015 that Brown "is not and has never been married to Nick Gordon".

Bobbi is found in a bathtub - January 31 2015: On January 31 Bobbi Kristina was found lying face down in a bathtub at her home in Atlanta. A police spokesperson revealed was alive and breathing after being transported to North Fulton Hospital in Roswell, Georgia

Hospital move – February 2 2015: Bobbi was quickly moved to Emory University Hospital, where she remained in a coma and on a ventilator. At the time it was reported that the family said she had briefly opened her eyes, but a medical expert commented, "Blinking her eyes doesn't mean she's out of the woods" A few days later the family denied reports she was brain damaged and been taken off life support.

Prayers – March 2015: On the 25 March Bobbi’s grandmother Cissy Houston, appeared on the radio show Middays With Shaila. She said Bobbi condition was unchanged, admitting there was "...still not a great deal of hope. We’re praying."

Another hospital move – late March 2015: Family members were seen leaving the hospital with Bobbi’s belongings as she was taken to an Atlanta rehabilitation facility.

Bobbi is transferred to a hospice - June 2015: After months of speculation over Bobbi’s wellbeing it was revealed that on June 24 she was moved to a hospice. Bobbi’s aunt – Pat - confirmed the news saying: "Despite the great medical care at numerous facilities, Bobbi Kristina Brown's condition has continued to deteriorate. "As of today, she has been moved into hospice care. We thank everyone for their support and prayers. She is in God's hands now."

Nick Gordon ‘violent assault’ lawsuit – June 2015: Following the news Bobbi had been moved to a hospice a lawsuit again Nick Gordon emerged.  A $10million lawsuit has accused Nick Gordon of violently assaulting the 22-year-old during a "loud argument" just hours before she was found unresponsive in a bathtub at her home near Atlanta on January 31.

 It also claims he stole thousands of dollars from her while she was in a coma. He has not responded to the allegations. The lawsuit was filed by Bedelia Hargrove, the court appointed conservator of Whitney Houston's daughter.

Bobbi Kritina dies – July 26 2015: She died on Sunday surrounded by her family, at Peachtree Christian Hospice in Duluth, Georgia.
