Man steals bhang from police station

A man broke into Homabay Police Station exhibit area and stole 50gm of bhang with an estimated street value of Sh200. 

However, he did not disappear for long as he was arrested and charged.

The accused, Tobias Okoth Juma, was charged with store breaking and stealing contrary to Section 306 of the Penal code.

He broke into the store on July 3, this year. Okoth was arrested a month later charged with breakage and theft.

He, however, denied the charges when he appeared before area Principal Magistrate Njogu Njagi and was remanded at Homabay GK Prison.
