Children are planning how to spend their holidays. These include rural home visits, game park visits or just relaxing at home with family and friends.

Well, Pembroke House School, in Gilgil, is welcoming children to Big Hill holiday camp, where children are expected to have fun of their lives. The school will host a holiday camp for children aged eight to 14 years, from August 13th to August 19th.

During the week-long fun camp, children will get an opportunity to relax and engage in adventurous fun activities such as treasure hunts, sports, creative arts and among others.

For the little ones, the beautiful forest inside the school will give them an opportunity to show who is best in hide and seek as well as who can follow clues in the treasure hunt. Playing is the name of the game at Pembroke School this holiday. By the end of camp, you might just know how to light a fire, plant a tree or sing a song!

The holiday camp is open to boys and girls who apply on time. Campers will also be given an opportunity to show love for their environment by learning how to take care of it.

The beautiful playgrounds at Pembroke also have space for different games, including tennis, soccer, hockey, rugby and others.

“We want to give the children an opportunity to have fun during the holidays, as well as gain skills. It will also be a time for children to get together and make friends,” said Evanne Wheeler of Pembroke.

And at the end of the day, children will get an opportunity to play and learn about music in the school’s music room, which has different musical instruments.
