“On 28th of this month, accompanied by my friends drawn from all over the world, I will launch my new party,” he said.
The Lugari MP has in the recent past lashed out at Ruto accusing him of sideling him in party affairs.
Jirongo said on Thursday, he would meet various stakeholders in Kakamega County in preparation for his rally set for Saturday in the region.
“I will hold a major rally in Kakamega then organise for another in Bungoma ahead of the launch of my party,” he said.
He argued that in politics, according to the late veteran politician Masinde Muliro, a politician should be prepared for three things namely bankruptcy, imprisonment and death.
“I am prepared for anything. We are not going to retain the status quo by electing leaders who are out to amass wealth, continue to hold Kenyans to ransom in order to retain power,” he said.
Jirongo, who was addressing mourners during the burial of former Assistant Chief Jackson Sabatia at Shisembe village in Hamisi District of Vihiga County, decried the poor state of security.
