Court ruling on bigamy case deferred

The ruling on a bigamy case facing a German millionaire in a Nakuru court has been deferred for the third time.

In the case, Paul Flach has been charged with bigamy after he allegedly got married to another wife without dissolving the first marriage to Ms Jane Akoth.

The case against Mr Flach was supposed to come up for judgement last October but the presiding magistrate, Ms Loise Komingoi, went away on maternity leave.

The judgement was subsequently set for April 19 but was deferred again on claims the file was not ready. But yesterday, Komingoi pushed the ruling to June 14 since she had many cases coming up for judgement.

This left Akoth in tears saying she had been kept waiting for too long.
