ASK shows set to be held in counties starting next year

By Joseph Muchiri
Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) fairs will change to county exhibitions in the next Government.
The society also plans to make the shows offer value by working closely with various sectors of the economy for realisation of Vision 2030.

ASK deputy national chairman Joseph Gachagua said in implementation of its strategic plan, ASK will work with farmers and agricultural agencies to help achieve best farming practices and food security.
Gachagua said they will also work with other stakeholders to ensure show grounds remain active throughout the year as opposed to the past when they were useful for a period.
